n 10th September, on the world’s largest offshore LNG Energy Island —— Yangguang Island of Yangkou Port, Rudong, an LNG carrier from Canada —— ‘Diamond’ loaded with 160,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas, slowly berthed at China National Petroleum Corporation Jiangsu Rudong LNG Receiving Terminal. It was the 60th LNG ship received and unloaded by the terminal this year. It was also the 800th LNG ship berthing operation since it went into operation.
From the first LNG ship arrived at the port in May 2011, to the 800th berthing this time, Yangguang Island of Yangkou Port has received and unloaded over 65 million tons of LNG from 27 countries and regions such as Russia, Canada and Qatar, and delivered nearly 100 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
