Nantong blind masseur shared his experience

A few days ago, the 17th World Blind Union Asia Pacific Regional Massage Seminar concluded in Seoul, Korea. Meng Qiang, a blind masseur from Nantong was invited to participate, and delivered a speech themed Reflections on Developing Blind Medical Massage Services in Rural Towns, to share the development practices of China's rural blind massage industry with international peers.
The seminar gathered experts, practitioners and scholars in the industry from dozens of countries in Asia Pacific area. In-depth discussions were carried out focusing on core themes such as innovation in massage techniques, expansion of clinical applications, and integration of rehabilitation services.
Meng Qiang, who has more than 30 years of clinical experience in massage, also serves as a director of the China Massage Association of Blind Practitioner, vice president of the Jiangsu Blind Association , and vice chairman of the Nantong Blind Persons’ Federation. Since he started his career, he has not only served patients with his professional skills, but has also become a role model for local disabled people.
