Wu Xinming met with Saudi guests

On 31st August, Wu Xinming, Secretary of CPC Nantong Committee, met with Saleh Al Khabti, the President of ACWA Power - China, and his delegation.

Wu Xinming said that Nantong is one of the first batch of coastal open cities in China and that the new energy industry is one of the major industries in Nantong. ACWA Power is a leading global energy enterprise. There is broad space for cooperation between the two sides. He hoped that the company could leverage its advantages in capital and technology to carry out practical cooperation with Nantong in hydrogen energy applications, seawater desalination, equipment research and development, and work together to promote higher-quality development of the new energy industry.

Saleh Al Khabti introduced the company’s development conditions and future investment plan. He said that Nantong is a city full of opportunities and prospects, and is widely favoured by foreign investment. He hoped to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Nantong in new energy industry layout, technology research and development, and other aspects.
