On 29th August, NETDA Beer Music Carnival opened.
You can taste authentic German fresh beer without going all the way to Munich; more than 20 food stalls gather German delicacies, fine barbecue and other snacks to satisfy your taste buds with multiple experiences. Famous brands gather in NETDA, to provide citizens with various types of famous and high-quality products.
In the first half of this year, Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area signed 44 new projects whose investment is over 500 million yuan and 30 million U.S. dollars. The total investment is 43.6 billion yuan.
The person in charge of NETDA said that the carnival is not only a summer event, but also an important measure for the development area to promote the integration of industry and city and create a livable and business-friendly urban environment.
White beer, light beer, dark beer, sausages, salted pork knuckles, roasted pig's trotters... It is worth mentioning that the Tunwan Munich Craft Beer Restaurant made a stunning appearance.
Up to now, 16 German-invested enterprises have gathered in Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area: Merck Group has invested 5 major projects here in the past ten years, the total investment is more than 3.3 billion yuan, accounting for over 50% of its investment in China. Symrise, a globally renowned flavour and fragrance supplier, put its headquarters here, whose tax revenue in 2024 was 117 million yuan, and the tax revenue per mu was more than 1.6 million yuan. Devro Group, the world’s largest high-end collagen casing supplier, also set up its only production, research and development base in China. There are also LANXESS Advanced Materials, Rampf Advanced Polymers, Parat Vehicle Trim Parts...
