Asahi Kasei high-performance material production and manufacturing base put into operation

On 7th March, Asahi Kasei high-performance material production and manufacturing base project whose total investment is 40 billion yen was completed and put into operation. The products of the project can be widely applied in fields such as automotive synthetic leather, electronic product coatings and connections.

Asahi Kasei Corporation from Japan is a world-class new materials research, development and manufacturing enterprise. In 2005, Asahi Kasei Corporation from Japan invested 11.1 billion yen to found Asahi Kasei Chemicals (Nantong) Co., Ltd. in Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area. It mainly produces two major series of products: high-performance polyurethane coating curing agent (HDI polymer) and polycarbonate diol (PCD).
