On 5th January, the piling ship ‘Er Hang Chang Qing’ built by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries for CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Company Ltd. was successfully delivered in Nantong.
It is learnt that ship ‘Er Hang Chang Qing’ is the largest piling vessel in the world at present. The height of the pile frame is 150m. It can drive piles with a maximum weight of 700 tons and maximum diameter of 7m. Apart from that, the ship is equipped with piling positioning system with offshore satellite station differential function, and can achieve pile driving with centimeter-level precision in deep and remote seas.
