On 10th December, Dialogue between Nantong and MNC —— Life and Health Industry Session was held.
Nantong has introduced international well-known enterprises including Merck and Bayer from Germany and Siegfried from Switzerland, cultivated a batch of leading local enterprises including Biocytogen, Bioda, Thousand Oaks Biologics, and Jinghua Pharmaceutical Group, and formed relatively complete industrial chains covering chemical medicine, API, Chinese medicine, biological medicine, medical devices, auxiliary materials and packaging materials.
The event introduced the economic and social development conditions of Nantong and the current status of the biopharmaceutical industry, and sincerely invited multinational companies to invest and develop in Nantong.
At the event, representatives from multinational companies and organizations such as OBO Bettermann, Lupin, CSL Behring, Glaxo Smith Kline, Eli Lilly and Company, Medtronic, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, Biogen, and Novartis delivered speeches. They were impressed by the urban quality and investment environment of Nantong which are suitable for both business and living, and expressed strong interest in further investigating Nantong’s biopharmaceutical carrier platform.
