Dongguan Showcases Computing Power Industry Island at 26th CIFIT
第二十六届中国国际投资贸易洽谈会于9月8日至11日在厦门启幕。今年广东以主宾省身份亮相这一国家级经贸盛会。作为大湾区制造业标杆城市，东莞携算力产业岛核心平台亮相投洽会，面向全球客商抛出合作橄榄枝。
The 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) will kick off in Xiamen from September 8 to 11. This year, Guangdong takes part in this national-level economic and trade event as a Guest Province of Honor. As a manufacturing benchmark city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Dongguan is presenting its core platform, the "Computing Power Industry Island," at the fair, extending an olive branch of cooperation to global business visitors.
2026年上半年，东莞经济数据全线走高——全市GDP达6427.29亿元，同比增长5.1%。规上工业增加值同比增长6.9%，先进制造、高技术制造增速分别突破7%、9%。集成电路、PCB、工业机器人产量同比涨幅超三成，虚拟现实设备产量同比激增80.7%。
In the first half of 2026, Dongguan's economic indicators climbed across the board. The city's GDP reached 642.729 billion yuan, up 5.1 percent year on year. Industrial added value above designated size grew 6.9 percent, with advanced manufacturing and high-tech manufacturing expanding by more than 7 percent and 9 percent respectively. Output of integrated circuits, printed circuit boards (PCBs) and industrial robots rose over 30 percent year on year, while virtual reality device output surged 80.7 percent.
市场资本的流向，最能体现外界对东莞的信心。上半年全市制造业投资同比增长13.8%，高技术制造业投资涨幅达26%，AI算力硬件成为资金涌入的热门赛道。同期签下275宗产业项目，协议总投资额1147.2亿元，同比增长超四成。外资实际使用增速居全省第五。新签约5亿元以上项目中，超八成与AI算力直接相关。
The flow of market capital best reflects outside confidence in Dongguan. In the first half, manufacturing investment citywide rose 13.8 percent year on year, and high-tech manufacturing investment jumped 26 percent, with AI computing power hardware emerging as a hot track for capital inflows. During the same period, 275 industrial projects were signed with a total contracted investment of 114.72 billion yuan, up over 40 percent year on year. The growth rate of actual utilization of foreign investment ranked fifth in the province. More than 80 percent of newly signed projects worth over 500 million yuan are directly related to AI computing power.

生益科技松山湖二厂已动工，总投资52亿元，专攻AI服务器高频覆铜板、高端封装基材；新能德33亿元锂电池封装项目同步落地。龙头企业带头攻坚，带动PCB、液冷、连接器配套企业扎堆落户，算力硬件产业链加速成型。
Shengyi Technology's second factory in Songshan Lake, with a total investment of 5.2 billion yuan, has broken ground, specializing in high-frequency copper clad laminates and high-end packaging substrates for AI servers. Dongguan NVT Technology Co., Ltd.'s 3.3-billion-yuan lithium battery packaging project has also landed. Led by these flagship enterprises, supporting companies in PCBs, liquid cooling and connectors are clustering in the area, accelerating the formation of a computing power hardware industrial chain.
项目落地的“东莞速度”同样吸睛。谢岗凯航AI算力零部件项目从动工到一期厂房投产仅100天，背后是持续深化的审批改革——“拿地即开工、竣工即投产”成为常态。依托本地95%零部件就近配套优势，产业链图谱招商、基金招商、场景招商多元发力，上半年举办近50场招商推介。
The "Dongguan speed" of project implementation is equally eye-catching. The Kaihang AI computing power components project in Xiegang went from groundbreaking to production of its first-phase factory in just 100 days, backed by continuously deepened approval reforms where "start construction upon land acquisition, commence production upon completion" has become the norm. Leveraging the local advantage of 95 percent of components being sourced nearby, diversified investment promotion approaches — including industrial chain mapping-based, fund-based and scenario-based approaches — have been deployed, with nearly 50 investment promotion events held in the first half.

The Dongguan Computing Power Industry Island in Shatian is the flagship platform being promoted at this CIFIT. Located at the apex of the Greater Bay Area's "Golden Inner Bay" and along the central axis of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao urban development belt, it is the only nearly 10,000-mu contiguous new industrial space on the eastern bank of the Golden Inner Bay. It is within one hour of the core areas of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and core components for AI servers can be fully sourced within one hour.
东莞计划未来五年投入千亿元开发算力产业岛，目标2030年全市AI服务器产业产值突破5000亿元。为此设立200亿元AI产业基金群，5年统筹50亿元用于产业发展。岛内地块可灵活分割适配大小企业，厂房采用超高荷载设计，配套液冷测试空间，远期绿电占比最高可达70%。
Dongguan plans to invest 100 billion yuan over the next five years to develop the Computing Power Industry Island, aiming for the city's AI server industry output to exceed 500 billion yuan by 2030. To this end, a 20-billion-yuan AI industry fund cluster has been established, and 5 billion yuan will be coordinated over five years for industrial development. Plots on the island can be flexibly divided to suit enterprises of all sizes; factories feature ultra-high load-bearing design with dedicated liquid cooling testing space, and the long-term share of green electricity can reach up to 70 percent.
