甲骨文双语小学堂（了不起的甲骨文）

　　“春”字甲骨文以“木”“日”“屯”为组合，“木”和“日”表意，“屯”既表音又表意，是形声兼会意字。原意指春阳抚照，万木滋荣，后延伸至以“春”作为一年四季的第一季名。

　　Theoraclebonescriptformofthecharacter“春(chūn)”comprises“木(mù)”,“日(rì)”,and“屯(tún)”.“木”and“日”conveythemeaning,while“屯”servesbothphoneticallyandsemantically,renderingitacompoundcharactercombiningphoneticandideographicelements.Originally,“春(chūn)”signifiedthewarmthandradianceofthespringsun,fosteringthegrowthofplants.Later,itcametodenote“spring”asthenameforthefirstseasonamongthefourinayear.
